Can anyone tell me the best method to get Revell to respond to my request to replace a broken part in my kit?
I have the Revell 1/72 VII C U boat kit and have broken the main periscope. I have twice emailed Revell asking how I can purchase a replacement (the USA Revell site offers this service), but have received no response from Revell… I’ve waited 4 days for them to reply to my emails.
Does anyone know of a better method/contact number to get through to their customer service?
Many thanks.
Ian
I’ve used their contact info through their website www.Revell.de and got a part once. I used babelfish to translate my e-mail from English to German (been about 15 yrs since my German lessons).
Don’t be suprised if you get two replacements in about a month… [;)]
Seriously. I did the same exact thing when I needed replacement parts for my Ju 290. I e-mailed them (using english, from the website), and got no reply. So, a few days later, I tried again. Once again, nothing. Well, about three weeks later, I get my replacement parts in the mail, no charge! “Sweet”, I think. Well, about a week after THAT, I get ANOTHER set! I bet your e-mails were processed, but nobody replied. Either this is a language thing, or just something they don’t do. Just wait a few weeks. I betcha you get SOMETHING!
