Revell UH1B Hog

Greetings!

My 10 year old son wanted to display the work he did on the most recent modeling effort.

He bought Revell’s UH1H Hog gunship at retail for 14.99, and used my modeling workstation for the work.

I provided guidance, and helped with a few of the fiddly parts. The bulk of the construction and painting was done by him.

Enjoy!

Tell your son that is one heckuva job he has done there!! It really looks great! Hope he stays with the hobby and hope to see more from him in the future[Y]

Excellent work for a 10 year old. A future Master Modeler for sure.

Regards, Rick

Very nice job!

Top job, One point though its a UH-1 “B” not H (H’s have a longer fuselage). I remember building one as teen and my 9y/o built one earlier this year. Great kit for kids and adults (I got one from santa last Saturday [:D] )

[Y]The beginning of a great modeler! [Y]

Great work for anyone much less for a 10 year old. Pass on the word for a job well done.

Your son did a wonderful job![:D[ I hope sticks with it and we see him get his own profile on FSM.

Props to you for being a DAD and spending quality time with him

Thanks for the kind words!

He asked how he can get his own account on here to post, and I told him he needs to complete a model on his own. He is now determined to do one on his own.

He is now on step 3 of Revell’s MIL24D Hind in 1/48.

Thanks for the inpsiring words, he is off to the races!

Your son does good work.

My hat goes off to anyone who can make that kit come out well, it does fight a bit.

I look forward to seeing his Hind when it’s done.
