Revell QM2 is going larger 1/400 scale

I was told that since Heller is releasing a 1/600 scale model of the QM2, Revell decided to change the scale of its original plan to make this kit 1/570. Now the new scale is 1/400 .This means that the length of this kit will be approximately 86cm long. I believe it will be a great kit to build.

BTW, the QM2 is the new ship that just entered service so this
will be a “whopper” kit!

Hi James,

In responce to your notice about the QM2, I would like to say that I was involved with building the real ship at Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint Nazaire, France. on behalf of Carnival Corporate Shipbuilding.
If you need information regarding the ship I can help you with images and technical info.

It was a fantastic project to work.

I believe that the model will be released at the end of the year.

Beau.

Thanks Beau!

I am sure it will be a beautiful model. And I am sure that many of
us will have questions for you when we start to build it.

It must have been great to work on her.

Thanks again,

James [:)]
