While it’s not a “beginner’s” kit, if you started modelling in the 1970s (like I did), it was one of the first kits you ever built. It brought back memories when I rebuilt it a few years ago… although I did miss the Shepard Paine diorama brochure.
Agree with all the others about nice detail and poor fit. While it was a great kit back when I first built it, by the time I finished this one, I was hoping that Accurate Miniatures would come out with a version.
