Here I am doing a baddy on a model . I should just praise them all to $%#@ . I ain,ta gonna do it !!! This is a nice model . The flaws are substantial though . The rails are to heavy and MUST be thinned down .Secondly , the cabin (superstructure) roof will sag or rise while drying ,so WATCH IT !!! The instructions show the kit in the box , but , the box art shows an earlier boat in the class ,for which there are NO parts included . If you decide to do the ALBATROS class you,ll need to buy two kits or find the parts aftermarket. The GEPARD class sports missiles . The ALBATROS does NOT!!! . The deck is two parts that NEED filling after mounting ,along the hull deck joint and where the two halves come together . Once you get all this done you,ll have a very nice representative of the GERMAN navy,s Inshore patrol boats . They are quite capable craft , believe me . -------tankerbuilder---- P.S. The hull is two halves that surprisingly fit together quite well .
Tankerbuilder, both classes have missiles on board. They have both 2 twin Exocet lauchers. The only difference is that on the Gepard class the rear 76mm turret was removed and a rolling missile airframe laucher installed instead.

LEOPARDMAN — thank you for the info . I would really like to build the whole class and this gives me a lot of ideas . Thanks again .----TANKERBUILDER
tanker, no problem. btw I have the Albatros Class in WIP for 2 years now. I had a box with small parts and it went missing during move and I havent located it yet.
