The Panther could come from an older mold at least partially. They released the F9F with book a littl while back in 1/48.

Sounds like some good kits are coming out soon. Wanna know what made me extra happy? Look at those prices! Woo-hoo! I might be able to afford to buy a kit this year! LOL! Thank you Revell/Monogram!

Wow! An F9F-5P! I also have been waiting for their Super Hornet, which is supposed to be all new tooling. The team that did their F-15E Strike Eagle is the one that was doing the F-18E so it should be good. I also like the sound of the Harrier and the A-10.[:D]

Looks like the only new kit will be the Super Hornet, although that recce Panther should have some new tooling included. The rest are reissues, but mostly very welcome reissues!

The only thing I have a problem with is the Wildcat-book combo. That book better be somethin’ special cuz the kit sure as hell ain’t worth $15.50.

Fade to Black…

The Panther and the Delta Dart will be a welcome addition. Just got a Heinkel 111 for $6, so I’ll probably pass on the new release. [:D]

The Harrier is the same one from the 80’s, with a resin nose to make it an AV-8B Plus. Any bets that the new nose will have recessed panel lines, while the kit will retain raised ones? Not knocking the kit…actually greatly anticipating getting my hands on one!

Would like to see the return of some bombers (i.e., B-24J), and maybe some new large (i.e., B-10/12, C-46 Commando, C-54 Skymaster) or unique (i.e., Sikorsky R-6, Waco CG-4A, Curtis XF15C-1) US WWII aircraft releases at 1/48. But that’s a lot of plastic ain’t it?

Still waiting for the 1/144 shuttle and booster stack with launch tower to be re-issued. :frowning:

Will most likely pick up a couple of the HE-111’s. A pretty good kit.

Too bad there’s not much “new” stuff on the list.

wow, that surprises me not

But Robertomoe, I think the display cases may be British!!![:P][;)]

revell needs to have something like italin or russian, something that you don’t hear about everyday

Do they have any 72nd scale offerings this year?

Doesn’t look like it. Drat, and I was hoping this would be the year we got some new cargo planes and trainers. Instead we get the same old reissues. Oh well, guess I’ll crawl back into my hole and pout until next year.

Even if some of them are reissues, I can see me spending some money on some of those listed. Like the Super Hornet, the F-106 and the Recce Panther.

I also would like to see the 144 launch tower kit remade . I just bought one on evil bay and got ripped off paid $155 bucks and it came with no tower and cant get a refund from seller wont answer email

Quagmyre,

I just got a catalog in the mail yesterday that showed a B-24D in a new Revell boxing. I’m guessing that this might be the same as the old Monogram, then later Pro Modeller version. It was a blue box - I think that’s Revell of Germany (not sure). Didn’t see a J model - but I wouldn’t be surprised if they come out with it eventually.

Wonder what the display cases will be like? Any photos to go with the list?
