Revell Hunter and 190, Tamiya d9 JV44

Revell 1/72 hunter built from the box. An excellent kit. Painted with humbrol enamels.

Revell 1/48 FW190 built from the box. These are dragon mould originally. Not the easiest kit. Flash everywhere, a warped fuselage and the cowling was a nigtmare to line up. Finished in xtracolor enamels.

Tamiya 1/48 FW 190 D9 JV44 built from the box and finished in xtracolor enamels

All three look fantastic! Great job

Three very nice looking builds.

You did an especially good job on that Revell 190!

KH, those are outstanding builds there!!. I especialy like the HUNTER. Always liked it and now I`ll add one to the stash. The paint sceem is unusuall but eye catching, me likey. All 3 are very good and any shortcomings you had with fit or whatever, you cant tell! Thanks for the pics…Harv

Great job KH that is one nice D9

Excellent work on all 3. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Rick

All 3 look great, but I’m a Luftwaffe nut so those Wurger’s are what caught my eye, nice work!

[#ditto] Outstanding work, thanks for sharing! [tup]

very nicely done on all three… I do see some dust flecks onthe hunter’s paint job? Love the paint job by the way… try a (moderate) blast from compressed air can, or use sticky gauze… I know I have a running battle with dust fuzzies on my paint jobs… all three are great builds, but I like the hunter the best, you did a really nice job with the paint scheme!

The hunter has been finished for a few weeks. Didn’t notice the dust until after the photo. It was the paint scheme that made me build it. One of the best 1/72 kits i have built.

Dude…whoa…nicely done, mate.
Very clean, very tidy…not too weathered, clean, sharp builds…beautiful models.
You should be extremely happy with those, man.
Thanks for sharing the pics!

Nice work there. Especially the 190 A. I have the Dragon kit in my stash. I was going to build her but upon closer inspection and test fitting i noticed many of the large parts were warped like the wheel well areas on the lower wing and the extremly poor fit. I tossed it back in the stash. You have done some excellent work to achive that high level of finish with such a poor kit. Well done!
