This is the second project I’ve posted on the site and the first to this forum. From the looks of things, you guys are much more hardcore than me, so you’ll probably pick my model apart. But, what the heck, here goes.
The model was sprayed with Testor’s Olive Drab in a can (no airbrush yet), then accented with various acrylics. Let me know what you think.

Hi Bship 1969 , Your Huey looks fine to me . I’ve built 3 Revell/Monogram Hueys of late and I know there not the easiest kit to get together . Your build certainly turned out quite well [tup]
I hope to see more helo builds from you in the future . Kind regards John
Looks pretty good. One issue though, the interior is in shades of gray, sometimes with black non-slip coating on the floor. It should not be OD green. Probably too late to fix it now though. Not your fault, but the kit is pretty inaccurate and the markings are fictional as well.
Here are a few pics of a TH-1L trainer interior (basically the same as a C model) for referance.

More can be found at PrimePortal.
Much obliged for the kind remarks and friendly advice. I wish I had benefit of such excellent reference pictures prior to the build. All the better for my next effort.
Thanks again,
Doug
The markings are not fictional but that ordnance setup is not correct for a USMC UH-1E (as well as other issues where the kit mixes UH-1B, UH-1C, AND UH-1E characteristics).
I guess I should have been more clear and said it was incorrect for the type of helo depicted in the kit, whatever type Monogram was trying to depict. I still haven’t figured that out yet. [%-)]
