Revell Graf Zeppelin, is it a good kit?

I’m thinking of building the Revell Graf Zeppelin, and wanted to see if anyone out there has built it and if it is a good kit.

No, it has major outline and hull fitting inaccuracies, which are obvious from even a brief look at the published photographs and plans. Many of the details are a bit sad, too, and, as far as I’m aware, there’s no PE for it. I had one on my ‘waiting to be built’ stack for years, and eventually gave it away as a raffle prize. It was won by a kid who didn’t careabout accuracy, and was delighted with it.

I’m in the process of building that now. Yeah, there are some accuracy issues, but the kit is going together well so far. I haven’t had any fit problems. The details are very basic though, I think with a little work, they could have come out with a better kit if they tried.

Chris, it may be quite some time before someone comes out with another model. I’d like to see Trumpeter give it a shot though!
