Revell G 1/72 Fuchs Ambulance in progress.

I just got the first coat of paint on. I’m using a paint bomb on this. What the heck, it’s small and all white. This is a real fidgety kit but a nice one. When it is finished it will be a German ambulance from 1993 Somalia.

Here’s the underside. You can see while I call it fidgety. The paint is still wet. I have only just painted it. You can see the disadvantages of using a spray can. I’m hoping the paint will thin out as it dries. I may have to sand down the blob in front.

i find that primer helps greatly when applying other paint, but it does give a rough effect to the paint

The paint has dried nicely. A little buffing and some dull cote. It’ll be nice. I’ve become more patient when building. I need to be more patient before I snap pictures now. lol

I didn’t like the first pictures. So, here is the latest work (above). The two white blobs on the top red cross are supposed to be there. They will be hinges when the thing is finished.

Looks good Elberich. The thing about those “white” paintjobs is they are eye catchers. People will spot them from across the room. I guess that’s why they were painted like that in reality. It will be a good addition on your display shelves I’m sure. Have any side pictures?

Looks very good so far. Keep us posted.

Regards, Rick

The sides are very plain. I have yet to finish the decals, paint details, or any weathering.

A bit more work done.
