Revell Constellation

It started out with a 70’s vintage reissue of Revell’s 50’s era Constellation. The decision to build it in Lufthansa livery came about from a FSM article on a 1/72 scale Heller Constellation project, and finding a set of Luthansa decals for Revell’s Constellation in a local hobby shop. I scratchbuilt a new nose, engines and landing gear, and added various antenna. The exterior finish is a combination of Bare-Metal Foil, and Humbrol enamels.

What a beautifull aircraft…I’ve always loved the Constellation - they looked great in Qantas colors.

The Constellation is one of my all time favorites, but sorry…your model looks well done, but your photo is way out of focus.
