I have lots of parts remaining from a 1/96 Cutty Sark if anyone is in need. It took two used kits to build a complete ship.

Would you happen to have the flags?I need them for my Scientific Cutty Sark!
Would you happen to have the main and fore course yards?
All the best
Ray
Yes, all yards are available but not the lower masts, which were warped on my original kit. Just let me know by number which items you need. $10 plus postage is fine. You might want to call me to talk about some if the issues with this kit, at 608-575-2528. Dave
Yes, I have the flags. What is a “Scientific” Cutty Sark?
Dave
Scientific was a brand of wooden models. Decent detail but you had to make a lot of parts yourself. Cutty sark was one of many models they offered.
See my build thread entitled"Picked up a Scientific Cutty Sark"
Hello, I have built this scale model 4 times and I am getting ready to build it again…great selection. I am building the 1960 version this time(again)…and I will highly detail it. Great ship…last of her kind.
Any photos of your previous efforts? Let me know if you have any missing, warped or broken parts. You can have whatever you need.
Dave
Hi Dave…nothing currently…because I just bought the new kit…but I will try and dig up some images of the last one I built…Great job on your build.
Rob
I haven’t posted any photos as far as I can remember but I can send you some if you give me your email address.
The flags arrived today.Thanks!
I don’t have the instructions easily available but, the two spars I need are the two largest spars both in length and diameter. I plan on using them on Revell’s 1/96th Thermopylae.
I’ll give you a cal.

Started my 1960 version of this wonderful 1/96 kit of the CS…I’m finished with the hull and am now beginning to work on the bowsprit.
It’d suggest fitting the bowsprit but not installing it until rigging begins. I had to modify the hole in the hull to,get the bowsprit to line up.

Indeed…I already made the mods myself. I had to file the insert round and to align it with the bullworks.
I will only mount the bowsprit, not the jib boom or the dolphin striker at this time. I weather everything before I install it…so that takes time as well.
