The seat and yoke looked a little bare to me. My first attempt at seatbelts and I drilled out the yoke.
After a long session of detailing and adding metal wires to represent wires, I found it was for no reason cause after everything is together…it cant be seen from any angle. :[
The add on cables are inside toward the bottom. Any recommendations please!

It’s never for no reason! You know they’re there, as do we. It’s good practice for when they will be seen.

Im getting ready to paint the main color…problem is I dont know what color it is! Are WW2 aircraft silver or chrome? Im not including variants…no black, green, camo…thanks!

Nice progress, and nice work on the cockpit! I agree with Fermis, we know it’s there, that’s the scratchbuilder’s comfort [;)] And that is a great touch on the control yoke, it looks really good.
You should check sources, because you might find other subjects than a natural metal Lightning, such as an OD over grey bird.
This is a great old kit, and it’s always nice to see another one getting built.
