Very, very nice!! I likey…Harv
Very nice!
Well done Jan! Do tell us how you dirtied up the decals, they look AWESOME!!! [bow]
I think she looks great! How did you weather her?
Excellent work, I think the weathering looks just right.
Revell?
She’s a real beauty! I’m willing to bet you used the “filter” technique to get that ever-so-rich patina of staining. You’ve given me the strength to press on with mine- cheers! ![]()
Very nice build Jan !
It does look very well worn - great weathering job.
Chris
very nicely done! I think you have suceeded in the “worn” weathering technique!
hi all
thanks for the positive comments, that’s very motivating
some answers : the kit is from Revell Germany (in the US its Revell Monogram)
Weathering the decals : covering the white and spraying the upper color over the blue part of the decal, so it is sort of blending in but not 100% covering the decal blue
I lightened up all the blues before spraying, so that afterwards i could use filters (oil paint and very thinned down Humbrol) to bring some life into the blue
making a color darker with filters is easy, making it lighter is very difficult
