Revell 1/48 AD-6 Skyraider question

Hello all,

I’m currently building the 1980 issue AD-6 Skyraider and have two quick questions:

  1. Is there a metal frame on the front canopy where it mates with the sliding rear portion? In other words where the two sections come together.

  2. What is the long projection on the front of the Mk82 (?) bombs supplied in the kit? Is it a ‘daisey cutter’ type fuse or something else?

Anyway, any and all help is appreciated. I’ll post a picture or two when it’s completed.

Thanks,

Kevin

Not sure if the cockpit of the AD-6 and the A-1H is the same.

and daisy cutters.

Sorry i was on the phone to dad while i was trying to reply. The first link is a 3D cockpit of the A-1H at the National Naval Aviation Museum. And the second photo is of Mk117 Daisy Cutters. Its a solid fuse to make it detonate above the ground.
