Revell 1/32 Apache - any good??

Hi all, my first post in this forum, but regular in ships and armour.
I am thinking of broadening my horizons and trying some aircraft kits. In my LHS they are selling off a stack of the Revell 1/32 Apache for £12.99.
It is a huge box and looks impressive, but I would like some recommendations before I splash out.
Thanks in advance

I like mine! It’s a nice kit, not perfect, but impressive when built.

Dave,

It is a great kit! As an out of the box build, you get a very nice representation of an early AH-64A, and if you want to add tons of tidbits, you can make one hell of a present day AH-64A+. I’m working on two of them now, one which is being converted to a D model without the APG-78 radar. The Revell kit is MUCH better than the 1/35th IMEX kit, which is full of flaws and driving me nuts! The Revell kit’s only flaw is that it seriously needs to be updated. Oh, that and the gap between the windscreen and the nose needs some fixing in order to look right.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies
