Well , after building so many other subjects I felt it was time to return to what really matters:

The Darkside!

Here I started my Revell/Germany M2A2 Bradley in 1/72 scale. These are the bogies assembled and waiting for tracks:

Then I went ahead and added all the parts to the upper hull:

Afterwards, as I was waiting for these to dry, I assembled the turret:

And now, I can’t finish this kit because when I tried to remove the Bushmaster cannon barrel from the sprue, the muzzle snapped off and dissapeared into the Blackhole! [:0][censored][censored] Man I am PO’ed beyond measure about that! [censored][censored] Of all the darn pieces to break and dissappear, it is that one! [banghead][banghead][banghead] Now, as everyone knows, the Bushmaster tends to have a distinctive muzzle, so I have no idea how to scratchbuild one, nor do I have the money to try and track down an AM part. I hate to buy another Bradley just for one lousy piece! [|(]

Moving right along, (after placing all the remaining Bradley pieces back in the box and settiing it aside [B)] ), I then started on my Revell/Germany 1/72 scale British MCV Warrior.

Here she is with the hull assembled, and waiting for the bogies to be attached. I will be puttiing on the tracks first, and then painting them before I attach them to the hull.

I also figured I’d need an armored escort for the warrior, so I started work on my Revell/Germany 1/72 scale up-armored British Challenger I.

Here’s the lower hull waitiing for bogies:

Then I started the upper hull and turret. Here they are test-fit together:

Of course, I had to start a German vehicle, so I brought out my Leopard 2A 5 that I finally got.

Here is the progress I made on this Leo:

Then I decided to bite the bullet and start my Revell/Germany 1/72 scale Spahpanzer Luchs as well, since I needed two Germans to balance the British vehicles. Here is the hull assembled and ready for the wheels to be installed:

And finally, I also decided to get on with finishing the last 1/72 scale ACE kit on my workbench! (I HATE white kits! [|(][sigh]) I got the lower hull together, now I have to clean all the bogies before attaching them to the hull [sigh][xx(] :

And that’s not all! I also started my 1/72 scale Airfix Bofors Towed Gun, and Monty’s Caravan, but my camera’s batteries ran out before I could get the pics. [}:)][:D]

So, you’ll have to wait till the next installment before seeing those!

some model companies will give you individual spurs if you lose a part. Tamiya charges money, not sure about revell germany, but one of my revell (america/north America?) models didn’t come with the decals, so i phoned them and they sent them free of charge by airmail! you should check the instructions for a custoner hotline or check there website. i know the feeling of losing parts: i have white carpet where i built them[:(][:(!][:0] and of course he floor and table are a mess.[V]

I think Rev/ger has free replacement. Just send for it and it’ll be on its way.
That’s not a factory, It’s a binge!!

hmmm, quite a busy queue. Can’t wait to see them all done next to one another.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Yeah, I guess it is a factory! I have some more photos of Progress here, but I still didn’t get any of my Monty’s Caravan, SA 13 Gopher, or the Bofors gun and tractor. Darn Battery ran out again! [banghead]

Here’s more of my 1/72 scale Revell/Germany British MCV Warrior. I installed the tracks, and painted the wheels here:

After that I completed the turret:

Here’s where I test fit everything to get a preview of what this kit was going to kinda look like when it’s done:

You can see how I started a basecoat n the main hull. I’m obviously gonna refine that later!

I also got some more work done on my 1/72 scale Revell/Germany Spahpanzer Luchs:

As you can see from the intricate and detailed suspension assemblies, this is going kind of slow in order for me to be able to do it right. At least half of the assembly of this kit is devoted to the undercarriage!

Moving on to my Revell/Germany 1/72 scale Leopard, I got the tracks installed on the bogies. In this photo you you can see the tracks on the lower hull.

Yes, there is a gap in there that I cannot seem to resolve. It is hard to see in this photo. I guess it is based on the position on the drive sprocket, but I’m just gonna leave it. It would take major surgery to fix, and I guess I’m being lazy about that.

Next I painted the basecoat on the top hull. In this photo you can see (at least I hope you can!) what my answer to no PE is: I painted the round cooliing screens black, then dry-brushed the base coat over it to get a kind of screen appearance. Hey, it’s not much, but it’s all I can do!

Here’s where I test fit the hull, turret and tracks together to see how it’s gonna look:

I did the same with my 1/72 scale Revell/Germany British Challenger

Once I get my batteries recharged, I’ll shoot some more pics of the SA 13 Gopher, the Caravan, and the Bofors.

About a half an hour to start them all. It’s taking longer to complete them! [8D] then of course in addition to these seven armor kits, I’m also working on four ships and an Mi24 Hind A helicopter for the Helicopter Group Build in the Helicopter Forum!

Zokissima, I’ll try to a get a shot of all of them lined up for you when they’re all done if my camera can handle it.

I want to find a site that shows a diagram/photos of the interior of this caravan. I’d like to try my first scratchbuild of the interior of this vehicle, since it fairly screams to be detailed with interior fixtures!
