I recently obtained the Academy 1/35 Tiger I with Interior, with a photoetched grille. What would be the best detailing accessories? I’ve looked at Aber, Eduard, and LionRoar, and found plenty of sets for the Tamiya kit, but very few for the Academy. Could the Tamiya accessories be used with the Academy kit? Does anyone make an aluminum gun barrel for the Academy kit? It is going to be some time before I get around to starting this kit, but I would like to start planning now. I’d also love to hear about any resources for the interior detailing of the Tiger I. Thanks!

I used the Verlinden Tiger detail set on mine,also the Verlinden Tiger interior set for those parts the kit interior didnt come with are didnt look that good.But Eduard makes photoetched interior and exterior sets and a aluminum barrel just for the Academy kit. You can get all of these kits at Squadron mail order.Also plenty of info on the Tiger-1 on the net. If you dont like the tracks that come with the kit, there also tracks out there also, you can use on this kit.Also check out Tiger Models.com for resin stuff for thi kit.[;)]
