When fitting an AM cockpit side walls do you need to remove the moulded detail or do attach the sidewall parts straight over the top of existing moulded detail

I would think that a smooth surface would be best for attaching resin (or any other material) parts, but try to test fit everything first.
In any I’ve built, you have to remove the molded in detail before fitting the resin.

Many times not only is removing the molded detail reqiure, but some serious thinning of the inteiro sidewall needed as well.
