Resin B-52H Conversion for Monogram !/72 B-52

Am I missing something?

I could have sworn that I read in last months FSM that a company called Golden Dragon Productions was making a resin conversion set to convert the Monogram B-52 to an ‘H’ model. Now that I have decided that I need to buy this product I cannot find it anywhere nor can I find their website… does anyone have any ideas as to what happened to these folks? I was wanting to get this
stuff just in case a GB was kicked off… but now it is kicking ME in the pants that I can’t find it ![:D] Thanks!!

Scot

I know a company called DP Productions did a resin conversion years ago, maybe 15 or so. That Golden dragon is a new one to me. If it’s legit…[:P] I thought AMtech was supposed to be releasing the B-52H as well with Black Box resin parts.

Try www.hannants.co.uk Airwaves did one for the G & H but I think have ceased production - Hanants may have some stock

Scot,
i cannot find that conversion, but greatmodels.com
shows the airwaves conversion on sale (still very $$)
perhaps more interestingly, they also show the AMTech B-52H (Late) multi-media version,
taking pre-orders at $10 off list, and CHEAPER than the conversion kit !!
something to consider, maybe.

I have seen pictures of theis set on the web within the last 2 weeks or so. I think I saw it over on Hyperscale, or on the Golden Dragons web site. Its www.golddragpro.com.

Dan had a booth at the Nats. He has some pics up on the site.
I have one of his sets, the interior is great.

Wow… thanks for the response guys!!..I found what I was looking for and then some! I was planning on just buying the conversion kit from Golden Dragon… but now I see that Amtech AND Golden Dragon are about to release full kits of the ‘H’ model. I think I will just wait and go that route… looks to be the cheapest way. Anyhoo[:-^] I really appreciate all the suggestions.I hope we get a group build going. What do you think Bstrump?

If I can come up with a kit I’m in. I’m really waiting for the AMTech kit as it’s supposed to have all the latest mods and OIF markings but I’ll grab the Monogram in a pinch. I suppose I’ll also need a crash course on GBs as well. Can you just give a reprt on progress or do you need to show evidence. I’m as computer dumb as they come and don’t know yet how to post pics.

I think the main thing is just getting as many people to join as possible. Now I have joined a couple of group builds but neither one of them have started yet. I think as far as posting pics it is not required but helps people understand what it is your up too. To me the biggest thing is having a digital camera or a scanner.I am definately not that smart about this contraption I am using right now either, but the way I posted my pics is:

download your pic to your computer, most of my pics are on a Wal-Mart CD, and I go to the pic I want ,right click my mouse. When the list of options comes up scroll down and left click to open it.When it opens right click on the pic again and then scroll down to properties .It will give you a URL. Copy that URL to the image hosting site that you are going to use( I use this one…http://photobucket.com/) You will have to set up an account there first before you can transfer your pics. And best of all it is free)Anyway…copy and paste the URL to where it says ‘upload images’ and hopefully it will work… Did I confuse you? I probably did… that is about as easy as I can explain it. I hope someone else can help If that wasn’t enough.

Hi Scott,

If you are looking for My 1/72 Scale B-52H Conversion for the Monogram B-52 goto www.golddragpro.com I’ve got them listed there under the online catalog and 1/72 scale pages.

Daniel

Thanks for the heads up Daniel… I’ll get one of those kits as soon as I can.Right now I have no shelf space for a '52,so building one is kinda on the back burner. But I had forgotten about this topic and appreciate you helping me out by reminding me about it.Thanks again.

Scot

AMTech’s B-52 has been planned for at least 3 years with no joy. Italeri has just released the AMT B-52H repopped.
