According to Bert Kinsey’s P-47 Thunderbolt in Detail and Scale, the wheel wells on Republic constructed P-47s were painted chromate yellow. For Republic constructed P-47s, does anyone have information about what paint colors were used on the inside of the oil cooler exhaust shutter, intercooler doors and associated ductwork? Or. were these left natural metal?
