I have adopted a few kits that I have decided, it it time to build rather keep in my stash. The T-34 went together very nicely, despite being produced for motorisation. However the tracks are very tight when fiited and I wonder how the kits was ever meant to be offered as motorised. I therefore need some fairly inexpensive T-34 track fot a 1943 model. So are there any options available for about $15? The kit is not worth spening $30 on!
You might find something on ebay that someone just wants to move, but I love these things if your budget allows
The least expensive track set that I’ve ever found was this one.
They are reasonable, but an older set and may not be easy to find now.
I’ve used a few others that may be a bit more than your price range like
This link to scalemates opened my eyes a bit, there seems to be almost as many aftermarket track options for these tanks, as there were actual tanks built. ![]()

That being said, most of the Tamiya T-34s have an option to adjust the position of the drive axle slightly. This may allow enough slack to fit the kit tracks.
This option unfortunately doesn’t exist if you have one of the actual motorized kits.
Another option is to track down someone who has some mid age dragon kits. If I recall correctly, some of them came with both rubber band and individual link tracks, so there may be some extras to be sourced.
Any way you go, good luck an$ keep us updated on your progress.
Has anyone used the Miniart replacement wheels and tracks
MiniArt 1 35 Scale Model Kit - T-34/85 Running Gear Late Type Min35227
I could use some of the later wheels as many T-34 had a mix of types, but what are the tracks like to construct, weather and attach to my 1/35 scale T-34 . The kit box artwork suggests it is just one side but i need both sides covered by this kit! Thanks
