Is anything out there to replace the cocpit for the 1:32 Trumpeter corsair, a resin cockpit put together by anyone? I screwed mine up last night and am not happy with the way it looks. I can get away with it but it is not of the level I was trying to acheive. Any ne know of anything I can get to replace this?
Verlinden has a set for the Revell kit. It’s about $25 from Squadron. Don’t know how musch work it would take to fit it in the Trumpeter, if you are doing the -1.
Blackbox has a cockpit for the Trumpeter Corsair. I have it in the one I’m building. Don’t remember the part number, but I got mine from Squadron for about $25.

Just curious, do you have the F4U-1 or the F4U-4? It makes a big difference! I haven’t seen any F4u-4 cockpits out there yet.
Good point, Jose. I didn’t think of that. I’m not sure what his is, but mine is the F4U-1D so teh BB cockpit may not work with his.
the dash-4 needs a 4 blade prop and the exauhst needs be re-designed. Thats about it…I think theres other things too[;)]
