Sorry, I cannot help on the Renwal kit. However, folks might like to know that Williams Bros. Also made aircraft engine models, and a company bought the rights, molds and stuff of the defunct Williams Bros, so some of the engine kits are again available. Now available are the Wasp Jr. and the Le Rhone rotary.
The WASP kit is 1/8th scale and is a great kit. I have a couple waiting to go into a 1/8th scale Lockheed Electra Model 10E.
I think all engine fans need to send messages to Williams Bros to release the rest of the engine kits for which the molds exist, and encourage them to put out some new ones. Sadly needed are some water-cooled engines, like the Merlin and the Allison 1710.
