I accidentally Oversprayed my m113 and left globs of paint on it[banghead] [banghead] how could I remove it.
When I have to strip paint I use oven-cleaner. I put the piece in a plastic container, with a lid. Spray it and put the lid on and leave overnight. Usually the next day all I have to do is rinse everything off. If you go this route just remember that oven-cleaner uses caustic chemicals. So watch where you spray.

Sceond teh above method. It works best.
Fume free oven cleaner, a small soft brush (toothbrush) and running water. Just be sure to put the stopper in the sink or else any small parts that come off will going down the drain.
Whatever you do, do not soak the part in airbrush thinner over night. I did that with a Gemini capsule front gauge panel. It ended up warping and ate some of the detail on the gauges. Good learning experience for me though.
If you just have a few little spots to clean up just dip a brush in thinner, dab excess off on a paper towel, and wipe the paint away but without too much force. Repeat until done. I’ve done this alot to fix small mess ups without destroying the underlying basecoat. The oven cleaner will remove everything.
I second the oven cleaner, and I’ve heard that brake fluid works wonders as well.
What about BBQ and Grill cleaner?
soak in a bucket of Castrol Super Clean (Purple)… scrub with toothbrush next day, you can re-use solution many times, works every time
Simple Green, the non-toxic and biodegradeable alternative. Just use it the same way as you would oven cleaner.
I have used both the oven cleaner and DOT-3 brake fluid methods. I think that the brake fluid works better. The oven cleaner usually is in an aerosol can and would be a wide area coverage item. The brake fluid can be applied with a paint brush or cotton swab/Q Tip to just a small area. It will be very difficult if not impossible to remove the overspray without removing the other paint under it.

I once overpaint my 1/720 Kuznetsov flight deck,I use Mr.Color Thinner 110 and tissue to slowly wipe it off. With good control of thinner and strength, removing it shall not be a problem.
