Removing Paint Puddles?

I’m still a newby to this hobby. I am finally finished with the assembly of my first aircraft and began painting it. However, after the first (hand) brushing was dry I realized that a couple of small puddles of excess paint had formed under one of the wings. Does anyone have any suggestions as to way of removing this excess paint? Or did I just make a mistake and have to learn from it. thanks
Gus

Light wet sanding with a very fine sandpaper. Use light pressure and after that area is smooth wash and let dry. A gloss coat should bring it back like the surrounding paint.

Gus,
You can try sanding it down with progressively finer grades of sandpaper, then apply another thin coat of paint. For future reference, the best way to paint large areas is to use an airbrush or spray paint, as it leaves a smooth finish if done properly. If you are going to brush paint everything, remember to use several very thin coats, allowing for ample drying time between coats.

Hi…
If the paint is still wet, you can take a corner of your instruction book and absorb the excess. This works well for excess glue as well
