Hi all, I have to remove some fairly freshly applied decals (no overcoats) and am asking for what has worked for you in the past. The panels are easily removable from the model so soaking is an option.

Apply tape onto the decal and pull it off. Repeat as necessary. If the decal is too stubborn, apply Micro Sol or vinegar onto it, wait a little bit and use the tape method. This always works for me.

Tape always works for me, especially when I touch the decal by clumsy accident and did not want to remove it! Works every time! Try NOT to use masking tape anywhere after you have applied decals.
I start with tape, use solvent for remnants, fine sandpaper for really intractable pieces.
