Removing Decals

Hey Fellow Modelers,
I’m sure this has been covered before, but I’ve done a forum search and can’t come up with anything. So forgive me for bringing it up again, but how do you go about removing decals? The ones in question have not been overcoated yet, and I don’t want to damage the finish below. What are some tried and proven methods?
Thanks for your help,
John
P.S. Forgot to mention that they were applied with Micro Sol and Micro Set.

I use masking tape burnish it done over the decal then pull it up quickly. You might have to do it a couple of times to remove all the decal.

Scotch Magic Tape works like magic.

The tape idea workd pretty well or you can use some Micro sol and it should soften the decal so that you remove it. I would use somthing like a popsicle stick so you won’t scratch the paint under the decal. Good luck!

If you hve applied the decals in a gloss or semi-gloss surface, better don’t try to remove them, but if it is a matt surface, you can do it with a lot of water and pacience… well, I don’t know another way…
