Hi all. I read somewere that someone used Oven Cleaner to remove paint from a model. I am using Acryl Paints and wanted to know the best way to get it off some parts of my model

Windex is fantastic (make sure it’s the kind with amonia in it) for disolving acrylics. [tup]

I tryed the Windex and some came off but not all. I am going to let it soke in it and ues a toothbrush on it latter

Try Simple Green, you can get it a decent hardware store. Works greart for removing Acryls.

Formula 409 takes dried acrylic off - if its a little stubborn, soak a piece of paper towel, and lay that over the spot you want to strip.

I keep a bottle for models. You can pour it into a container, soak the model, and then pour it back into the bottle. You can make one bottle of 409 last a long time that way.
