Remove before flight placement

Hey all. Looking for some direction on what gets a “Remove Before Flight” tag. Specifically on an F-100C. Google is failing me on this one. Also, is there a general rule on what gets a tag? I’ve seen pics where an aircraft has one out of seemingly every rivet and others where only the pitot gets one.

Well the Pitots get a red plastic cover with a RBF flag on it vents also get RBF covers as well. The RBF flags get placed on landing gear actuators. Nose gear gets a RBF flag on the steering portion of the nose gear. all the pylons get a RBF flag on the ejectors 2 each if it has a MER (multiple ejector rack) a RBF flag goes on each station same goes for the TER (triple ejector rack). And there are multiple areas of the ejector seat that get RBF pins to safe the seat. Basically if it moves it gets flagged and if ordinace is present it gets a flag as well.

I think the post above basically covers it all.The Full size Hawker Hunter I have worked on also has “gust locks” that fit between the controll surfaces and the fixed areas just next to them. Also used on the SAAF DC-3 and 4’s

The Jets also jad intake covers and sometimes jet pipe covers aswell.

Well the F-104 had wingtip covers as well seeing as the wingtips were razor sharp.

Not to mention the ejection seat/seats it you really want to add detail.
