I’d appreciate in advance if someone could provide some advice on what the flying suit colours for Stuka crew would have been in 1941. My guess is brown leather, but I’ve seen a photo of a guy in buff shorts and short-sleeve shirt, that may or may not have been a pilot, near a CR-42, and the instructions for the particular kit I’m building suggests Humbrol 74, which is buff.
Last time at the USAF Museum I took this photo of an Regia Aeronautica Pilots Uniform. This question came up once before and a person didn’t believe me so I took this photo.

Thanks, yes it does help. Another correspondent noted that the uniform was maroon, while the flying helmet, boots and gloves were brown. This may almost correspond with the mannequin in the background - at least as far as the uniform goes.
