I have to admit that one area that I am totally in the dark about military aircraft, be it modern or wwii, is what the ground crew does during refueling, rearming, etc. I would like to make a small diorama with an Aeroclub gloster meteor n.f. 12 I picked up off of Linden Hill Imports. The kit is a bit tricky, being VERY multimedia (resin, injection molded, metal, and vacuform), and I would like to find a proper way to display it when I’m through. I would LIKE to be able to show the ground guys fueling it up, but I don’t know the first thing about doing this on any type of aircraft. I know by now I sound like a total newbie, but I was wondering if any of you guys and gals would know of any high resolution, close up pictures of this, or any other ground maintenence, for that matter, being done on a meteor or similar aircraft. Any descriptions or anything else would, as always, be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

Not being familiar with the Meteor very much, I am assuming that the NF variant would have the same basic layout as the Mk. 4 version. Here is one I found–ground crew refueling:
contact air atlantique, they have one in their historic flight so they must know how its reuelled! if you’re doing a period diorama, i think accurate armour do the appropriate bowser- at a price! good luck; please show us when its done- s.
Thanks for the quick help, it’ll be a while before the project gets any major attention, I’ve got a diorama and two planes on the bench, so I have my work cut out for me for now, but when it’s done, I’ll post some pics…
