Recommendations for Hasegawa 1/48 F-22 Raptor

I’m about to start the Hasegawa F-22 Raptor in 1/48 scale. There are several aftermarket modifications available in both resin & photo-etch from Eduard, Aires, and even Hasegawa itself. Some of the kits overlap a bit.

Can anyone make recommendations on which modifications are the best to use? I’ve never used resin but I’m willing to give it a shot. Thanks!

I have heard the Eduard external set is great. But thats the only one I have ever seen used.

I have the same kit and the only extra I have is the ejection seat from Aires. I had a good look at some of the others and noticed that more than a few would require some surgery to the canopy (but I could be miss reading the instructions) and I just wont risk that. Looking at the others I just don’t see what you gain by using them for the amount of work you need to put in to get them.

I will say that it is a fantastic engineered and well fitting kit, builds up real nice
