Recommendation for 1:48 Mil-24 Hind, please

Hello helicopter modellers! What would you recommend as the bast 1:48 scale OOB kit out there?

I’m not much into scratch-building and I have no space for a 1:32 scale bird.

the mini hobby one is much much better in terms of detail, the revell one has raised lines, and not much else. whereas the mini hobby one has nice engraved detail and rivets and much more, plus there is 2 different hind versions from them.

add a Pavla resin cockpit, and/or the eduard internal & external sets, and you have yourself a very nice Hind.

I know cos i have them all…

I have the Trumpeter model. Reasonably nice kit, though does need a/m bits. I picked mine up for about $A25. Comes in a D or F

Hi guys. I’ve purchased the Mini Hobby one for S$29.90. Not bad…

I’m looking to paint him (as the Russians like to call their vehicles “he” and “him”, instead of “she” and “her”) the desert yellow plus the dark green, with the bluish underside.

Which paints did you use on yours?
