YOu might want to know that these Nebelwerfers spit fire out the back something fierce when fired, however, so if you’re trying to convey an actual firing moment there, Hans in gonna get his boots fried! [;)]
These meat grinders were fired from a remote location becuase of the backblast. Anything behind the Werfer would be thrown about and could cause injury. Most of the photos that I own show it dug in slightly. When launching, the operator would count 1,2,3 (or ein, zwei, drei) between firing each tube. If it was fired too quickly the Werfer would flip over and disaster would ensue.
