As one forum participant mentioned the problem could be that the companies want such exorbitant fees for producing a subject model such as one manufactured by Boeing, Lockheed etc. Does anyone know if those fees are charged to an overseas company like Anigrand that produces almost all American subject aircrfat in resin kit form or are they exempt or just dont pay the fees since they are overseas. Would be interesting to know.
Good question Dennis. Does anyone know what became of the legislation to expempt the model companies from having to pay licensing fees to the manufacturers of Government paid for aircarft and vehicles?
