I scrubbed the heck out of the canopy with windex and the paint would not budge. So, without my husband here to tell me “No you shouldn’t do that” I decided to let the canopy soak in windex. I pulled it out after about 2 hrs and after washing then they brand new. Yeah

Sometimes it works like that - you just give it a try, and it works out.

Another stripping mixture you can try:
1 part Windex, 1 part Simple Green, 2 parts water. Let soak, scrub gently with an old toothbrush.
Heck, it works pretty good if you just use simple green. I’m stripping some enamel off now with that stuff… and it smells a heck of a lot better than windex!!![xx(]
