In response to HeavyMagz comment regarding the Avro Arrow…it never actually saw service…the Canadian Government scrubbed the program and destroyed all five (I think there were only five) of the prototypes…don’t know why - it would the most advanced fighter/interceptor of the day…

If I remember correctly it was cut due to costs and some political back
dealing. Also that was back when missils could due everything!!! and the
Canuck Gov. bought BOMARCs that never really lived up to their promise.
