Does anyone know who makes detailed engines for the Academy 1/32 Hornet?
I have checked Squadron and Verlindenwith know success[:(] Also if anyone has pics of the Hornet in maintenance, and would send them my e-mail is
MJNoel@netzero.com. I will not start building for awhile as this kit was given to me and I ant all research and building materials on hand first. Thanks and happy modeling[:D]

Bad angle, but I’m still looking
If this pic is of any help, I can send you the full-sized image.

The engine type is F404-GE-400. Search that in Google and it turns up a pretty nice handful of images…
EDIT: Okay, not so many images after all…mostly pics of the aircraft. Couple good engine pics tho.
That does help its a great start. Thanks
You might try www.modelmecca.com That site carries a lot of aftermarket parts. HTH
I would also try the Aircraft forum, as I imagine those weirdos…uh…helpful people that is, would probably be more knowledgeable about this.
hee hee…weirdos
BTW, I did some checking (used to be a weirdo) and I couldn’t seem to find any aftermarket engines
Hey!! I’m training to be a pilot!! I don’t care though… I prefer building tanks, but would sure rather operate an aircraft than a tank. (nothing personal, I just love them)
hehe, don’t worry, it was just a bad joke. Trust me, i’ve had a fascination with aircraft my whole life. Back home when i was a kid, my grandfather used to get me all sorts of cool stuff, including a pilot helmet.
When I finish university, I’m debating going into the forces up here, as going in an officer would make it easier to get to flying.
I agree
