Re: AM P-39Q Unlimited Racer

ATTENTION…

I got mine a few days ago… It was a gift from my newborn son… Is it just me (please do not answer) or do you guys notice anything missing???

My kit contained everything except for the painting guide(mainly for Cobra I & II). Are the Scallops on the nose section decals or are they a mask?? Nothing is mentioned at all…

I am now wondering if this was just a bad batch that my LHS got and later orders were corrected. I emailed AM about 2 days ago and have not yet heard anything back from them… I too understand that they have a lot on their plate but ya think… Can anyone shed some light on this please…

Over all the kit is pretty cool and yes its Eduards

If nothing shows up from AM, shoot me a PM and I’ll send you a color scan of the color guide.

I’d be curious to know whether it’s a decal or a mask. I was drooling on that kit at my LHS the other day and was debating on buying it.

A GIFT FROM WHO ??!?!?!?!?!?!?

Boy, have I been out of the loop for a while or what?

Quit your whining Mike, just cut some decal film like I did and put it on (in 72nd scale no less)[^]

Does it come with the other parts to make the Cobra airracers like the oil cooler scoop for the belly and the four bladed prop?

Hey Mucker,

The colour guide, you are not talkin bout the box art that seperates the regular sprue from the clear in such??

Or did you get something else?? So far nada… mayber I should email the Pres… Laughs…[:P] I’ll let u kno in a few days… Thanks again my friend…

Wayne,

Well its been a while but not too long my friend…!! To answer your questiuon, yes, it comes w/ the under carriage scoop(resin) as well as the 4 bladed prop config… Actually looking forward to this build. I will either do what you did or mask it… Who knos…

O’ let me introduce you to Arron Jacob Michael, he has good taste in his a/c…

Mike:

Your wife must have done a good job taking care of herself preparing for the birth…look at all that hair on Arron! Congrats again.

The color chart I was refering to is a dual sided, 1 page insert printed in full color that shows the painting instructions for two racers and the Old Crow. This is different from the “false bottom” art work.

If you didn’t get this, I’ll scan it at the office tomorrow and send it to you. PM me your e-mail address.

Hey Mucker,

Just sent ya a PM… Thanks again my friend… Even though they inspect before they ship out(assuming) yet some still get out well like mine… LOL

Thanks
