RB-66 TOP WING

I need to know about the top of the wing for painting. is the center section that runs almost from wing tip to wing tip, on a bare metal finish, just another shade of metal or is it a gray or a off white or what?
Thanks for any help you can give.

The ones I’ve seen have been painted with a non-slip surface. Some have it and some don’t, which is typical of the USAF. It’s possible that it is a different shade of metal.

BTW. 99% of the RB-66s’ were painted in the SEA camoflage. I’ve seen a couple of pics of one bird that was painted overall black with red stenciling and I’ve seen one pic of an RB-66B that was overall white with red ligntning stripes. The RB-66 is one of my favorite planes and its a shame that there are only two or three in museums.

Thanks for the information.
