Razorback Completed

Here is my completed Tamiya 1/48 Razorback that I recieved for the SS Group Build. I tried to do as much justice as I could to this awesome kit.

Thanks for looking and as always, any and all comments or suggestions are welcome. And a huge, THANK YOU! John (Jeaton01) for this awesome gift.

Nice looking jug. Ive done the bubble top “Eileen” kit and it was a blast to build.

Thanks James for the reply and I agree. I have also built a Bubbletop. Unlike most 1/48 WW2 aircraft. These P-47’s feel relativley huge to me compared to a Spitfire or any of the Luftwaffe fighters. Really any of the early war fighters for that matter. thanks again.

Jeff

Excellent work Jeff! She really looks the part. Did you leave off the propeller logos? I didn’t see them on there.

Well done, love those Tamiya Jugs! [tup]

Thanks Frank. Your talking about those little oblong decals that go in the middle of the prop right? The version I built only called for the stencils down near the prop hub. I thought that was kind of strange but I figured, what the heck. Thanks for the comments.

Regards,

Jeff

Jeff, great looking build.

Karl

Looks good Jeff. Thanks for sharing.

That’s a great looking Jug. The only critique I have is that background isn’t a doing that model any justice. Photographing against a white or light blue background would really make a huge difference.

nice one, Firesmacker!

Great looking Thunderbolt Jeff!..I really like the chipping. You may want to check your wheel alignment, bit still a beauty.

Jerry

Thats really fine, Jeff. It’s a big boy alright, all business! Well done.

Crystal Lake !!!

Hey, Hey, Im pretty darn close to you my friend. I was in Chicago but I recently purchased a house in Antioch. [:D]

Nice build ! [tup]

Very nice stuff Jeff. Looks spot on to me. I agree with the background issue though. Im terrible with it as well. Mine usually have my scratty workbench in the background. Great job though and nice gift from Jeaton

Can’t get enough Jugs!

Good job.
