Hey guys, did a bit of spraying last night with a rattle can on the white parts of my F-117 and i came across something a little odd. 2 sprues fresh out of plastic bags had “spiderwebs” on them after i sprayed. When i pulled them off after the paint had dried they were quite springy. Im sure they werent there before i sprayed. Is it possible that the cold weather made the paint do this?
How cold was it? How were the bags sealed? Was there a lot dust in your painting area? I don’t have any answers (as usual), just wondering about the environment. [:^)]
It was rather nippy. Had been raining all day but was clearing. theres friggin dust EVERYWHERE at the moment (silt kicks up in the wind when it dries) The bags were sealed typical tamiya style plastic baged folded over several times and stapled at the top.
Perhaps it was the high humidity and the dust. The Tamiya “seal” isn’t much of a seal, so the parts may have been contaminated from the start. Just speculation.Sorry for not having a solution.
