some more painting
painted the frame. not sure what to use for headlights. i’ll have to get a 32 ford kit i guess cause the lights in the kit suck hard lol
also added more white pastel on the painted areas of the body to blend them and give a faded look

Very cool[tup][tup] I love the realism of the rusty frame and running gear (not to mention all the little details in the cab). Did you use the rustall system? Love the license plate as well, nice touch. I have to say you’ve developed a great talent for realistic finishes.
to make the rusty look i start with a red oxide primer, then dab on brown and red craft paint. dabbing gives you a texture like rust has. you can make more texture by add more layers etc.
then add pastels to bring in different shades . once the base rust color is on you can spray it with water and put sea salt on it, then paint a color on top, then after wash the salt off and it gives you that peeling paint effect.
used the oil tank from a revell chopper BMF’d it and weathered it up . and stuck on a battery

I was wondering if you were using the salt method on this. Man, I still haven’t gotte the courage up to try that one, but I’m going to do it on the next project here I think.

you mean on the tank? that’s bare metal foil. I also sanded it with 600 grit and then rubbed in black pastel powder to make it look like weathered aluminum

did some tweaking on the body and lowered it over the frame. 
engine in had to move the steering on the outside of the body for some clearance!
