That looks great, TAdan! Very nice paint. What I can see of the office looks nice too. That’s a fun kit to build, though it’s no shake and bake. It takes some work to look good. And you made it look good!
The rest of the “squadron” looks great too- nice display!
JWB: I encountered your “wing crack” while working on this one, I had all the seams nice and tight…as I was sanding I heard a loud crack, and when I looked at the wing root, the gap was back grrrrrr. [(-D] I was able to save it though.
TAdan: I’m a P-40 fan myself…great job salvaging the build. It’s neat to see a Tomahawk once in a while on line. Great job with a tough kit. By the way, I like the Do-335 in the background…that’s what I’m working on now.
And finally, building it gear up was a great idea. It looks ready to pounce!
Thanks again everyone. I love these Monogram P-40’s. I’ve got three more in the stash…[:D]
I am glad I started weathering this one, my weathering skills need some practice after taking a few years off.
Mucker, that is the Revell/Monogram Promodeler 1/48 DO-335. I built it ages ago. (Notice the wrong shade of blue on the underside…hand painted too). From what I remeber it is a very nice kit.
Wingnut, when/ where are the meetings again? Edit: I looked it up on the NJ-IPMS site. I know exactly where the meetings are in Garwood. If I find myself free on the second Friday of the month I should check it out. Its only about 20-25 minutes away.
