I’ve finally got hold of an AMT 1963 Galaxie 500 kit. I had one of these cars (1:1 scale, I mean) back in the 60s built by Holman and Moody to European Group 2 racing trim. This was to all intents and purposes a NASCAR car with full interior trim.
The kit is pretty basic, and I wonder if detailing parts, especially suitable wheels and tyres, are available. Sorry if this seems a bit simplistic - I’m a ship rather than a car modeller.
