RAAF B 25j Mitchell

G’day Folk’s,

This is the Revell/Monogram B25j Mitchell kit in 48 scale and is another of the builds for the RAAF OTS, this model is OOB, but has local aftermarket decals applied to it. This model is based on one of two that were Olive Drab over Black the extensive exhaust staining is created by using Testor’s Metalizer’s of bothe burnt steel and exhaust, which have been buffed.

The entire model has been oversprayed with a wash, when this was applied the airflow from the airbrush spun the props and created a chipping effect on the blades, the silverchipping of paint is done with a silver ink pen.

This is my favorite medium bomber of WW II. You did a great job.
