Quick Question on Navy Phantoms

Hey FSMers,

I’m trying to put some finishing touches on a Phantom for the GB, but I have a question. On the NLG door there are three small lights. Can someone tell me what colors they’re supposed to be?

I believe the lights are, from top to bottom:

Green
Amber
Red

These indicate the aircraft’s AOA (Angle of Attack) on landing approach.

Correct. They are green, amber, red - top to bottom. Just confirmed it from a pic I took of the F-4 on display at the NAS Pensacola air museum.
