Quick question about sealing metalizer

Im using Model masters metalizer on my P-51 and seeing how weak of a bond it has with the plastic I would like to seal it. what clear coat or other product would you guys recommend?

Testors offers a “Metallizer Sealer”. While I’ve never used it (I’m an acrylics guy), it is made for the exact purpose that you have described.

hey look at that my problems arent as unique as I thought, products made for the exact purpose i wish to use them for, tis truly an amazing time we live in. [:)] thanks man

Testors Metallizer Sealer dulls the finish. I have found future is a better sealer. Just apply several very light coats. It doesn’t dull the finish and decals will go on with no problem.

i’m a metalizer guy too,i’ve yet to try AlcadII…the Future is the best way to go,but there is also the “sealer” which is just regular dull coat in a bottle,if you use rattle cans ,any of the Testors clearcoats will work
