Hi,

Do you have a clue what the helmets on the turret are hanged on? The pictures are quite small to figure out, maybe someone has some larger pics.

Usually helmets and other gear are hung by wires. The straps from the helmets hold them onto the wires.

Mark’s right, normally a small wire or rope would be strung from one lifting hook to another and then the chin straps used to hold the helmets in place.

On a totally unrelated side note…those color photos claim to be of a Tauchpanzer III but aren’t. They are of a Befehlspanzer III…cool photos though.

Thanks for your answers. So in order to hang some helmets on my Panzer IV D turret I will need avery thin wire between the the hook on the rear and the one on the front side
